Tassajara 1964 is an original play written and directed by Eric Fraisher Hayes. It tells the tale of the tragic crash of Pacific Air Flight 773 in the hills near Danville, CA on May 7, 1964 and the criminal investigation that followed. Based on news reports and testimonials, the play seeks to put a human face on this tragedy and explore the community’s response to the incident. On May 7, 2014, the 50th anniversary of the crash, a staged reading of Tassajara 1964 was performed at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley in Danville, CA.
